Field

IncidentDesk: structured incident reports from the field in minutes

IncidentDesk gives officers a structured incident report app with photos, video, and voice notes, and routes each incident through the escalation chain you define.

Mock incident report showing a trespass at a construction site with three photo attachments, a voice note, structured fields, and an escalation chain with two acknowledgements.

Capabilities

What IncidentDesk does

  • Incident types with required fields, so reports are complete the first time.
  • Photos, video clips, and voice notes attached from the Officer App, including offline.
  • Daily activity reports generated from check-ins, patrols, and incidents.
  • Escalation chains notify supervisors, operators, and clients by severity.
  • Redaction tools for sharing reports outside the organization.
  • Full audit trail of edits and acknowledgements on every incident.

In practice

How teams use security incident reporting software

  1. Scenario 1

    Trespass at a construction site

A night officer records a trespass with three photos and a voice note in under two minutes. The site manager is notified and acknowledges the report before the officer finishes the round.

  2. Scenario 2

Daily activity report without the paperwork

At end of shift the officer reviews an auto-generated daily activity report built from the shift's check-ins and patrols, adds two notes, and submits it.

  3. Scenario 3

Medical incident in a shopping center

The incident is escalated to the duty manager and the client's security lead simultaneously. Both acknowledgements are recorded with timestamps.

FAQ

IncidentDesk questions

Can we define our own incident types?

Yes. Each incident type has its own fields, required evidence, and escalation chain. Common types are provided as templates.

Does incident capture work offline?

Yes. Reports, photos, and voice notes are stored on the device and uploaded when the connection returns. Timestamps reflect capture time, not upload time.

Who can see an incident?

Visibility follows roles. Officers see their own reports, supervisors see their sites, and clients see incidents on their own posts once an operator releases them.

Can incidents be exported?

Each incident exports as a PDF with evidence attached, and all incidents export as CSV. Redaction is available before sharing externally.
