Analytics

GuardLanes can be configured to use one of two analytics providers.

Cookieless analytics. When configured, a cookieless provider measures page views without storing identifiers in your browser. It loads without a consent banner and honours your browser's Do Not Track setting.

Cookie-based analytics. When configured, a cookie-based provider loads only after you choose "Accept analytics" in the consent banner. It sets its own cookies, typically _ga and _ga_*, which last up to two years. Choosing "Decline" stores your choice and nothing else is loaded.

Which provider, if any, is active is shown by the presence or absence of the consent banner on your first visit.

Changing your choice

To change your analytics consent, clear this site's data in your browser settings. The consent banner will appear again on your next visit when a cookie-based provider is active.
