Who we are

This privacy notice is issued by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("GuardLanes", "we", "us"), registered at [ADDRESS], [JURISDICTION]. It explains how we handle personal data when you visit this website, request a demo, contact us, or use the GuardLanes platform as a customer.

Questions about this notice go to privacy@guardlanes.com.

Data we collect on this website

We collect the information you give us through forms: name, work email, company, role, officer count, country, preferred time window, and any message you write. We also collect technical data that your browser sends, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit.

We use a honeypot field and rate limiting to reduce spam. Neither stores personal data beyond the request itself.

Analytics and cookies

By default this website loads no analytics. When analytics is enabled, we use a single provider configured by GuardLanes. A cookieless provider loads without consent and respects your browser's Do Not Track signal. A cookie-based provider loads only after you accept the consent banner. Your choice is stored in your browser under the key gl-consent. See the cookie notice for details.

How we use your data

We use the data you provide to respond to your request, schedule demos, send the information you asked for, and improve the website. We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising pixels or session-recording tools.

Our legal basis for processing is your consent (for demo and newsletter requests) and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website.

Data in the GuardLanes platform

When a security company uses the GuardLanes platform, that company is the controller of officer, client, and incident data, and GuardLanes processes it on their instructions under a data processing agreement. Officer location is captured only during an active deployment: at check-in, checkpoint scans, and intervals the customer configures. Location is never collected between shifts.

Officers and other individuals with questions about data held in the platform should contact the security company that employs or contracts them. We will assist that company in responding.

Sharing and subprocessors

We share data with service providers who host the platform, deliver email, store media, and monitor errors. The current list is published on the trust page. Each provider is bound by contract to process data only on our instructions.

We may disclose data when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of GuardLanes, our customers, or others.

International transfers

Data may be stored and processed in [JURISDICTION] and in the regions selected by our customers. Where data moves across borders we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as standard contractual clauses.

Retention

Website form submissions are retained for 24 months after the last contact. Platform data is retained for the period set by the customer's plan and contract, then deleted. Backups are purged on a rolling schedule.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email privacy@guardlanes.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, audit logging, and regular testing. The trust page describes our security program.

Changes to this notice

We update this notice when our practices change. The date at the top shows the last revision. Material changes will be announced on this page.
